Serenity At-Home Skin Routine

At Serenity I use Environ Skincare for their proven, science-backed vitamins (A,C,E, peptides, hyaluronic acid etc) along with Slow Ageing Essentials for their soothing, botanical nourishment for calm and comfort.  When used together you’ll have skin that feels balanced, strengthened and visibly more youthful. Here's my guide for a simple Home Skin Routine morning and evening skin regime.

 

Morning Routine:

Step 1 - Cleanse – every morning simply use warm water to clean your face, or if you prefer, use one of these cleansers – Environ Vita Peptide Cleansing Lotion, AVST Cleansing Lotion or Slow Ageing Essential Gentle Cleanser.  With clean hands, massage 1 pump of cleanser to face and neck, paying particular attention to T-Zone (forehead, nose & chin) and remove with a clean face cloth in warm water.   Blot skin dry with a tissue.


Step 2 – Smooth Eye Area – apply half a pump (grain of rice size) of Environ Vita Peptide Eye Gel onto fingertip and smooth over whole eyelid and around eyes, especially lined areas.


Step 3 – Moisturise - mix a few drops of Slow Ageing Essential Facial Essence with Environ AVST or Vita Peptide C-Quence & Defence Cream.  Apply to face, neck & decollete in upward and outward movements


Step 4 – Protect – your invisible shield for youthfull skin.  Apply broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF) and et al Mineral foundation.  (When in the sun, re-apply sunscreen every few hours)

 

Evening Routine:

Step 1 – Cleanse – it’s important to double cleanse (wash twice) if you wear make-up and SPF, otherwise, cleanse once with your chosen cleanser as above and wash off with a warm face cloth (a clean one each day)


Step 2 – Rest the eyes –soothe & smooth them with Vita-Peptide Eye Gel as above


Step 3 – Skin Renewal – Apply 1-2 pumps of AVST 1-5 or Environ C-Quence & Defence cream to face, eyes, neck and decollete and follow with Slow Ageing Essential Moisturiser for an added moisture boost

 

Why I’m recommending this combination and routine:

Yes, there are many more products we could be using on our skin, but this year I have noticed inflammation/irritation and sensitivity in the majority of the skin I’ve looked at. 


This routine keeps things simple and sensible.


You’ll be creating calmer, healthier, more youthful skin. 


If you have obvious redness to your skin, I advise only using the Slow Ageing range until the skin barrier is stronger.
